Dalat: Two Prosecuted for Selling Counterfeit Goods

Police in Lam Dong Province have initiated criminal proceedings against two owners of a fashion store in Da Lat for allegedly infringing industrial property rights through the sale of counterfeit products.

At around 2:00 a.m. on January 20, while on patrol along Thuận Giao 19 Street, Hòa Lân 2 residential area, police officers noticed Đăng riding a motorbike with Trường as a passenger, displaying suspicious behavior.

Female domestic helper abuses 90-year-old woman

A family in Hai Bà Trưng Ward, Hà Nội, discovered through their home surveillance cameras that a domestic helper had committed violent acts.

According to the camera footage, instead of providing proper care, the domestic helper repeatedly shouted at, verbally abused, and physically assaulted the elderly woman, who was confined to a wheelchair and unable to take care of herself.

In several video clips, the helper was seen ordering the woman to “sit up straight.” When the elderly woman was unable to comply due to her health condition, the helper slapped her hard across the face, twisted her neck, and struck her repeatedly.

These abusive acts reportedly occurred even while the helper was changing the woman’s clothes and assisting her with personal hygiene while she lay on the bed.
