Bach Long Hop, 33 years old, was detained by Cam Lam District Police, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam, for investigation of the crime of Theft of Property.
Hop told the investigation agency that because he needed money to pay off debt, he rented a car to go to a high-end urban area in Cam Lam District and Nha Trang City to steal.
Many victims discovered white cars, frequently entering and exiting the urban area, after which many incidents of property theft occurred.
The investigation agency determined that this car belonged to a car rental facility in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam.
Hop returned to the car rental facility and was arrested by the working group of Cam Lam District Police and Cam Ranh City Police.
Vietnam detective agency, Hop stated that because he needed money, he rented a car to go steal property.
Hop committed 4 thefts in Hung Thinh Urban Area (Cam Lam District) and An Vien Urban Area (Nha Trang City).
