A 42-year-old woman in Ho Chi Minh City has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during a dispute at a hotel.

The woman reportedly became jealous after suspecting her boyfriend was still communicating with another woman.

An argument followed. Investigators said the woman then used a knife to stab her boyfriend in the neck.
The victim managed to escape and was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. He survived.
The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Procuracy has indicted the suspect on a charge of attempted murder.
The case will be handled in accordance with Vietnamese law, Vietnam detective agency.
