Cam Pha City Police are temporarily detaining Vu Manh Dung, born in 1984, in Quang Ninh.
This person was temporarily detained for investigation to clarify acts of resisting officials on duty.
At about 8:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024, Working Group No. 13 was on duty at National Highway 18, Cam Son ward, Cam Pha city.
The functional forces are responsible for controlling, inspecting and handling specialized violations of alcohol and drug concentrations.
The working group signaled to stop motorbike BKS 14U1-561.40 driven by a man, not wearing a helmet.
This person did not comply with the requests of the authorities. He crashed into Mr. Do Thai Bao, Deputy Captain, causing Mr. Bao to fall, causing injury.
The man did not stop but continued to drive. This person was later controlled by the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2.
The man violated his alcohol concentration; Drug test tested positive for meth.
Police also confiscated a black cloth bag with two silver metal knives inside.
The man’s identity was later clarified as Vu Manh Dung.
