A serious incident occurred when a 15-year-old boy was accused of riding a motorbike at high speed and smelling of alcohol.
This person ran straight into the traffic police captain.
The incident left the victim with a broken leg, crushed lung and spleen. The victim was taken to the hospital immediately afterward.
On January 15, 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Huong said that the working group of Ngoc Hoi Traffic Police Station was on duty in Dak Glei district.
The working group saw the teenager riding his motorbike very fast and constantly crashing, so they asked him to stop to check.
The teenager is said to have disobeyed police orders. The teenager accelerated the engine and rushed straight into the working group, killing Captain Nguyen Dinh Phuc, 36 years old. This person suffered a broken leg, crushed lung, crushed spleen, and broken jaw.
The teenager also fell, suffered a traumatic brain injury, smelled of alcohol, and was taken to Hospital 211 in Gia Lai, Vietnam.
Captain Phuc was treated at Kon Tum Provincial General Hospital, Vietnam.
