In the early morning of May 18, 2025, Lam Dong provincial authorities conducted a surprise inspection of Sky bar, located on Nguyen Van Troi street, Bao Loc city, Vietnam.
Vietnam detective service agency, during the inspection, the authorities discovered 6 people who tested positive for drugs.
Among those who tested positive for drugs, there was Nguyen Huu Le Hoai Trung, 28 years old, residing in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, Vietnam.
Trung was detained by the police to investigate the act of organizing illegal drug use.
The remaining five people were released by relatives to serve the investigation.
This incident is part of a campaign to strengthen inspections of entertainment service establishments to ensure security and order and prevent social evils.
Violators will be handled according to the provisions of law in Vietnam.
The incident also sounded the alarm about drug use among young people at entertainment venues.
Authorities call for cooperation from the community in detecting and reporting violations to build a healthy and safe living environment.
