Nguyen Van Cong, accused of producing about 940 fake Hanoi draft beer kegs within 6 months, Vietnam private detective service agency.
Thai Binh police said that Cong was investigated and prosecuted for the crime of producing and trading fake food products, according to Article 193 of the Penal Code.
The investigation showed that Cong had signs of producing and trading fake goods, so he coordinated with functional units to inspect Cong’s production workshop in Thai Tho commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh.
Functional forces seized many Hanoi – Habeco beer keg shells and other barrels containing finished beer at Cong’s production facility.
Vietnamese private detective Cong khai purchased beer keg shells from Hanoi Beer Company, ordered fake brand caps and then sold them on the market.
Cong produced and sold about 940 fake beer kegs, illegally earning nearly 400 million VND.
