Hanoi city police, Vietnam said that the criminal police department coordinated with Ba Dinh district police to arrest Tran Anh Vu and Vu Anh Tuan.
Vietnamese detectives, Vu and Tuan were arrested to investigate the act of theft of property.
According to the investigation, on August 24, 2024, a clip appeared recording the theft of 2 male subjects on Nguyen Bieu Street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, Vietnam.
After 5 days of investigating the case, the police arrested 2 perpetrators, Tran Anh Vu and Vu Anh Tuan.
The police also seized evidence including 2 motorbikes and 2 iPhones.
Vu and Tuan stated that at about 5:30 p.m. on August 23, 2024, on Nguyen Bieu street, Tuan drove his motorbike from behind and collided with Ms. D.T.B.’s motorbike so that Vu could steal the phone.
The two subjects left immediately after that, private detective in Vietnam.
