Rejecting information about kidnapping students in Hanoi

On social networks, information spread about a 6th grade student of Tran Dang Ninh Secondary School, Hanoi, being dragged into a car by two people at around 1:30 pm.

This information quickly attracted attention and caused confusion in public opinion.

Immediately after learning about the incident, Ha Dong Ward Police conducted verification.

The authorities worked directly with the school, students and parents involved.

The results showed that there was no kidnapping incident as posted online, Hanoi detective agency.

The person who posted the information later admitted that he only heard it from others and then shared it, leading to misunderstandings.

In the face of the above situation, Hanoi City Police advised people to be extremely careful when receiving and spreading information on social networks.
