On the evening of June 23, 2025, the police of Bac Giang province, Vietnam, coordinated to arrest Chu Quang Duc.
Vietnam detective agency, this person is a suspect in the assault of two girls in Bac Ly town, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang, Vietnam.
The incident took place on the afternoon of June 20, when Duc was driving a motorbike and blocked the two girls’ car on Provincial Road 295, Tam Hop residential area, Bac Ly town.
Afterwards, images from the surveillance camera showed Duc grabbing the girl sitting behind by the neck, knocking her down, and then continuing to punch the girl driving the car in the head and body, despite people trying to stop him.
After the clip went viral online, the Investigation Police agency of Bac Giang provincial police determined that there were signs of the crime of “intentionally causing injury” and began an investigation.
Duc was arrested on June 23 while hiding in Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province, Vietnam.
At the investigation agency, Chu Quang Duc admitted his actions, stating that the cause came from the two girls’ reaction when Duc’s group swerved and swerved on their motorbikes earlier.
This conflict made Duc angry, leading to the above uncontrolled actions.
The suspect is currently being detained for further investigation and consolidation of the case file for handling according to legal regulations.
