The Hai Hoa border guard force, part of the Quang Ninh border guard, discovered a truck carrying more than 650kg of sausages of unknown origin.
On December 14, at the Luc Lam Bridge area, the working group discovered a truck with suspicious signs and requested to stop the vehicle for inspection.
At the time of inspection, the working group discovered that the truck was carrying 16 sacks of pineapple, each containing 59 packages of frozen sausages, without documents proving the origin.
A Vietnamese detective said that in this incident, the total weight was 656kg of sausages, Ho Chi Minh detective agency.
Driver Pham Van Hiep stated that the above goods were hired by an unknown woman standing on the side of the road to Hiep to transport, for 900,000 VND.
The working group requested Hiep to bring the vehicle and all the above goods to the Hai Hoa Border Guard Station for verification and handling.
Hai Hoa Border Guard Station has destroyed all sausages of unknown origin according to the law in Vietnam.
