According to the authorities, the Dan Phuong District Police, Hanoi discovered the Facebook account “Nguyen Thi Mai” posting fake news.
This account posted a video with the content “The Trung Chau – Dan Phuong embankment is broken, everyone. Hope everyone is safe”.
The post attracted many comments and shares, causing fear and insecurity for many people.
Working with the police investigation agency, Ms. P. admitted to posting the article but did not verify the authenticity of the information.
The city police recommend that people choose to read verified sources or those from the government.
