Nghi Son town police, Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam, arrested Tran Dinh Dong for property theft, Vietnamese detective service agency.
The police received a criminal complaint from two citizens of Hai Thuong ward, Nghi Son town about the theft of 5 buffaloes by thieves.
Vietnamese detective, after 2 days of investigating the case, the police determined that the suspect responsible for the theft was Dong.
According to the investigation agency, at about 1:00 a.m. on June 27, Dong drove a truck from Nong Cong district to Nghi Son town, Thanh Hoa, Vietnam.
Dong saw there were many buffaloes, but there was no one to look after them, so Dong came up with the idea of stealing.
Dong took 5 buffaloes to the back of a truck and transported them to Nong Cong town to hide and prepare for consumption.
The case is being investigated by a Vietnamese private detective agency.
