Later, he discovered that the balance in his account was up to 1.5 billion, so he tried to appropriate this money.
Duy was arrested by Tan Phu District Police, Ho Chi Minh city for illegal possession of property.
Duy went to the bank branch on Tay Thanh Street, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City to deposit 1.5 million VND into his personal account.
Bank staff was negligent when doing accounting, so they mistakenly transferred 1.5 billion VND to this account.
Duy checked his account and saw an additional balance of 1.5 billion VND, knowing the bank had made a mistake.
This person transfers 50 million to you, please withdraw cash and give it back to him.
After discovering the wrong money transfer, the bank carried out procedures to cancel the transaction, recovering 1 billion 450 million VND.
The bank invited Duy to offer to return the 50 million but he did not agree.
